Lamar Odom has officially been dropped from the Mavericks, according to published reports. The Mavericks’ owner, Mark Cuban, demoted Odom to a D league team today — rather than trade him to a competitor. Meanwhile, Odom will continue to receive his hefty $8.5 million dollar salary.
