Jay-Z will be leaving Brooklyn Nets, as he sells his share of the sports team. Several days after announcing a new music deal with Universal, Jay-Z has decided to step away from the Brooklyn Nets. Jay-Z will sell his percentage of the Nets to become a sports agent. Although he only owned about 1 percent of the team, he was positioned as a key figure in the marketing of the Nets move from New Jersey to Brooklyn. Chad will not face any jail time, but will be put on probation for 12 months, must enroll in a batterers intervention program, and will not be allowed to have any contact with Evelyn during his probation period.
