Mexico’s transportation ministry says the plane lost contact with radar at 3:15 AM, approximately 61 miles from Monterrey. It was bound for Toluca. There were two pilots and five passengers on board, including Rivera, who performed in Monterrey on Saturday night. Gerardo Ruiz Esparza, Secretary of Communications and Tourism, has confirmed that the remains of the jet found are those of the one where Jenni Rivera was traveling. Ruiz Esparza said that there were no survivors.

Can you believe this?? AGAIN! A software engineer is in a Brevard County jail charged with murder and attempted murder in the shooting death of 17-year-old high school student Jordan Davis. The incident occurred at a Jacksonville gas station on Southside Boulevard on Friday. Michael Dunn, who is white, told police he “felt threatened” by Davis and his friends after he complained about the loud music coming from their car. Davis is African American.
