WSVN-TV – MIAMI — The mayor of Miami-Dade County has apologized to an 82-year-old woman who was kicked off a Metrorail train for singing. The Miami Herald reports Emma Anderson was singing religious hymns and making noise on the train Feb. 20 when she ignored a warning from a security guard to quiet down. A cell phone video taken by a fellow passenger shows the guard physically removing Anderson from the train at a station. Anderson fell as she struggled with the guard for her rolling suitcase. Atlanta,Georgia:: There are so many people in this world today, that needs some help or encouragement. Mr John Young, was acting as a good Samaritan, this past week, when a co-manager at a Union City Kroger was arrested after allegedly shoving the elderly man who was on the store’s property collecting food for a local church to donate to the needy. It seems that former NBA player and business mogul Earvin “Magic” Johnson is at it again. Johnson have successfully marketed Burger King, Starbucks, and even a record label, now he has teamed up with Comcast to launch his own 24-hour cable television network targeted at African-Americans. Emergency officials from Florida to the Carolinas were closely watching Irene Tuesday as the first hurricane to seriously threaten the U.S. in three years churned over energizing tropical waters. The storm has already cut a destructive path through the Caribbean. Forecasters say the hurricane could grow to a monstrous Category 4 storm with winds of more than 131 mph before it’s predicted to come ashore this weekend on the U.S. mainland.

According to a lawsuit filed Friday in the Virgin Islands, Paid 4 Entertainment struck a deal with Young Jeezy back in March to do the show. They claim just 12 days before the show, Jeezy’s people told him he “might” have a conflict with the June 18 show date and “was considering not appearing.”
